Noctua’s silent and efficient cooling systems are famous around the world. They’re an international company that has been providing top-quality products for years, without any need to push advertising because their reputation speaks volumes. Noctua always makes sure to provide a silent cooling solution without compromising on the performance front. As for the Noctua NH-D15, it’s one of the best CPU coolers that I should recommend getting for the new AM5 socket.

As for the aesthetic, they never focus on RGB lights or any other gimmicks. Noctua prefers to focus on the quality of their product and they’re not afraid to show it through their beige and brown color scheme. The Noctua NH-D15 is a massive cooler with two fans that are capable of dissipating heat quickly from the heatsink. The fan size is 140mm and they use Noctua’s proprietary SSO2 bearing which is known to be very quiet and has a long lifespan.

The fans operate at 1500 RPM and they’re very silent even when pushed to their limits. The maximum noise level that they produce is 24.6 dBA which is barely audible over ambient noise. The heatsink is made of nickel-plated copper and it features six heat pipes that are in direct contact with the CPU, which ensures maximum heat dissipation. It is made for all the latest AMD and Intel sockets and processors like Ryzen 7 5800x and or i9-12900k, which means that it will be compatible with all the future CPUs as well.

The Noctua NH-D15 is a bit on the expensive side, as it comes at a $100-$110 price point, while most of the other coolers are available for $70-$80. But, if you’re looking for a premium-grade cooler that will last you for years to come, then the Noctua NH-D15 is definitely worth the investment.

Despite fancy features like RGB lighting, the Noctua NH-D15 comes with all the attachments you need to get it up and running with any compatible CPU. It also includes Noctua’s high-quality thermal paste and a low-noise adapter so that you can enjoy quiet operation even when the CPU is under full load.

Reasons to Buy

  • Comes with RGB lighting, that costs extra $10.
  • Quiet operation.

Reasons Not to Buy

  • A bit bulky!
  • Less RAM clearance.

While Noctua is focused on providing the best possible cooling performance, Cooler Master takes a more balanced approach with its products. They offer a good mix of performance, aesthetics, and features, which makes their products more appealing to a wider audience. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 is a great example of this philosophy, as it offers excellent cooling performance while also being very affordable and good-looking.

This cooler comes in two types of variants, covering a huge audience. One is the normal variant, without any RGB lightning which costs you around $50, while the other is an RGB-enabled model which costs $10 more, making it $60 in total. As I am an aesthetic freak myself, I would recommend going with the RGB variant as it makes your system look more appealing, especially if you’ve got a clear glass side panel on your PC case.

Talking about the cooling performance, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 features a 120mm fan that operates at maximum speeds of up to 2000 RPM. Because it has a single fan, the RPM is high and that’s why it produces more noise than the Noctua NH-D15. The maximum noise level is 36 dBA which creates some kinda whispering sound but is still manageable. The fan is also RGB-enabled, so you can customize the lighting with any RGB-controlling software.

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 is fully compatible with the latest chips from Intel (LGA1700) and AMD (AM4/AM5) that are on the market. There are four heat pipes made of copper that are directly connected with the nickel plate that is in contact with the CPU. This makes heat dissipation faster and more efficient making your system cool and stable.

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 is a great cooler for those who are looking for a balance of performance and aesthetics. It also comes with all the necessary items we need to get it up and running, so you don’t need to worry about spending extra bucks on mounting accessories.

Reasons to Buy

Corsair has a great history in gaming technology and gear and their AIO cooling solutions are the main reason for Corsair being so eminent in the market. Due to quality products, Corsair has developed a strong and loyal fan base in the last 20 years. Corsair has a great variety of cooling solutions including air coolers, liquid coolers as well as RGB coolers that give an aesthetic look of your gaming rig.

The Corsair iCUE H100i RGB Pro XT is the company’s mid-range and well priced AIO cooler with a 240mm design having 2 ML series PWM fans with ARGB support. The new micro-fin design allows an ample amount of air to rush through the fins and cool the processor, while keeping the noise output minimal even at 2400 RPM, which extracts the most out of the cooler without compromising the acoustics. Even at max RPM, the noise frequency remains under 37dB, which is very low for an AIO cooler and is almost unnoticeable.

This cooler also has an alluring look, making it appear to be very appealing. The square-shaped pump head has the Corsair logo along with a ring on the corners. The whole pump head has 16 RGBs that can be controlled by Corsair’s iCUE software. The pump head also comes with pre-applied thermal paste which makes the installation process easy.

In terms of performance, when Ryzen 5 7600X is in idle condition, H100i maintains a temperature around 38-40 degrees. However, under heavy workload the Corsair H100i will be able to handle the temps under 95 degrees which is the maximum bearable temperature for Ryzen 5 7600X.

Being an AIO cooler, it comes with all the necessary things included in the box. In the box, you get the main radiator, 2x PWM fans, pump mounting brackets, providing a complete installation package. Overall, I’d say that Corsair H100i is the best AIO liquid cooler for Ryzen 5 7600X if you are tired of air coolers and want to upgrade to a quality liquid CPU cooler on a budget.

For those, who don’t like the design of Noctua NH-D15, I would recommend going with the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4. This is one of the most silent CPU coolers with their Silent Wings PWM fans. The noise level stays at a minimum under full load, around 24.3 dBA which is unnoticeable over ambient noise.

As Noctua is just focused on providing the best possible cooling performance, they didn’t care much about aesthetics, be quiet! on the other hand, takes a more balanced approach with its products. Their Dark Rock Pro 4 is one of the best dual tower CPU coolers with seven 6mm copper heat pipes that are connected to the base plate which can draw out 250W of heat from your processor.

However, there are two different sizes of fans at the rear and front of the cooler, which provide you more RAM clearance and better airflow. The rear one is a 135mm PWM fan that operates at a maximum speed of 1200 RPM and the front one is a 120mm PWM fan that maxes out at 1500 RPM.

Furthermore, the 90 aluminum fins are coated with ceramic paint which makes the heat dissipation more effective. Also, the top of the cooler comes with a diamond cut-out and is made of brushed aluminum, which makes it look more premium.

Despite all these features, be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 is compatible with all the latest sockets from both Intel and AMD including the latest AM5 from the Ryzen 7000 series.
